Alumier MD chemical peels use professional-grade active ingredients to gently exfoliate the outer layers of skin, accelerating cell renewal and encouraging fresh, healthy skin to the surface. They’re one of the most effective ways to address pigmentation, acne, acne scarring, fine lines and dull, congested skin.
About Chemical Peel Treatment
During your peel, a customised chemical solution is applied to the skin and left for a carefully timed period before being neutralised. Depending on your skin’s needs, the peel can be adjusted in strength โ from a light “lunchtime peel” with virtually no downtime, to a deeper resurfacing peel for more dramatic results.
Alumier MD peels are formulated with active ingredients such as AHAs, BHAs and enzymes to target specific concerns, and are suitable for most skin types when tailored by a trained therapist.
Treatment Process
During the Treatment: Your therapist will cleanse and prepare the skin before applying the peel solution evenly across the treatment area. You may feel a warming or tingling sensation, which typically settles within a few minutes.
After the Treatment: Skin may appear slightly pink initially, and light flaking can occur over the following 2-5 days depending on the peel strength. Daily SPF and gentle skincare are essential during this time to protect the new skin underneath.
